Transformer Services
MOKO’ teams travel across the country safely installing, assembling, vacuum-filling and commissioning substation, power and GSU transformers with ratings and voltage as large as 500 MVA and 400kV respectively.
Assembly, installation & commissioning
On-site transformer installation and component assembly.
Vacuum processing removes moisture and air.
Oil is heated, dehydrated, degassed, and circulated into the transformer.
Transformer Electrical Testing
Advanced equipment and software provide accurate data capture, transfer, and reporting.
Tests include TTR, insulation resistance, winding resistance, CT ratio, power factor, excitation, and SFRA.
Additional testing available on request.
Oil reclamation & processing
Removes acid, water, dissolved gases, sludge, and insulation-degrading byproducts.
Oil is heated and circulated through filters, fuller’s earth tanks, and vacuum dehydration systems.
Extends transformer and insulation life.
Oil sampling & testing
Identifies contaminants, moisture, acid, PCB, and dissolved gases before failure occurs.
Tests include dielectric breakdown, moisture, winding resistance, PCB, DGA, and more.
Testing guide available.
Field services & repairs
Warranty repairs, inspections, regasketing, welding, bushing and radiator replacement, load-tap-changer work, and transformer retrofits.
Weekend and holiday crews help minimize downtime.
